All the beds got composted and tilled, ready for today's planting party.
And what a party it was!
Lots of people showed up at 10:00 and got SO much done!!! It's always amazing to see what gets done in ONE hour! The pictures will tell a lot of the story, but here are some of the details:
People that showed up to help (I sure hope I don't miss anyone!!!):
Natalee Best and Dezmond Kirchhausen, Gary and MaryAnn Zabriskie, Mark and Suzi Nilsson, the Curry family, Susan Skania, Debbie Hafen, Bob and Lea Porter, Allyson Washburn, Jennifer Clark, the Call family, Paul Zolman, the Craven family, the Walter family, the Harris family (plus Grandma visiting from Vernal, who handles a wheelbarrow well!!!), Jessica Jewkes and Leila, Benjamin Hutson, and my wonderfully supportive husband, Rod!!
We planted pre-soaked peas, potatoes, pre-soaked beets and onions, carrots, lettuce and spinach!! What a great morning, and to have so much help, too!! Everyone benefited, even the young ones in strollers and in mom's arms!!
A final watering of the beds and it's a WRAP!!! All done in one hour!!! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL OF THE GREAT HELP!!!
