It's Fall in Dixie and there's all kinds of things to do in the garden!
The broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are taking off like weeds!! We've thinned and transplanted, and still need to do more.
The tomatoes are putting on tons of GREEN fruit...we'll have plenty for fried green tomatoes, green tomato preserves, etc., etc!! I wonder if they make good brownies??? ^_^
The peanuts got soaked with all the rain the past several days, and started to mold. Hopefully we rescued them in time and they'll still roast well.
The fall planting of onions, beets, carrots and lettuce is doing really well. Come help pull some weeds, wheel some compost onto beds, or anything else to help and share in the fresh produce, too!!
