What a PRODUCTIVE morning we had in the garden!! From adults to children, everyone worked SO hard and we got EVERYTHING done that needed to be!! AMAZING!
We pulled all of the dead plants (cucumbers, squash, tomatoes)...had to borrow some neighbors' trash cans to handle all that bio mass... (CLICK ON A PICTURE TO VIEW A LARGER VERSION)
Heath & Jennifer Clark, and their kids, Jaxon and Cierra, got the onion beds cleared out and planted a Fall Crop of Red Weaver onions and White Spanish Onions. Hooray!!
Scott, Rinda, MaryAnn, Arlene, Braden, Kayla, Debbie, Rod, Dallin, Erika, Paul, Tonya (and son), Heath, Jennifer, Jaxon, Cierra, Devon and I had a great time sweating in the garden as we got all this work done!!
And we planted two beds of broccoli, two beds of lettuce and spinach, one bed of beets, one bed of carrots, and our fall planting of corn is doing GREAT!!
All these pictures of people bent over makes me feel SOOOO grateful for everyone's help. Hopefully nobody is WAY sore, but maybe each of us can tell we used our muscles today!!
And the two beds of green beans are just starting to put on the beans!! Can hardly wait!
